Introduction

In this course, we intend to explain only the essential elements in preparing and delivering an effective presentation. Without much distraction, participants are led to focus on presentation techniques straight away. Proper emotional control is the key of effective presentation and is an emphasis of the course.

This course aims to teach the participants on:

How to determine realistic presentation objectives and to analyze the audience. How to use supporting materials effectively.
How to organize the presentation clearly and successfully incorporate visual aids into the presentation.
What steps to take to reduce your fear of speaking, remain calm, and appear relaxed.
How to use your voice and nonverbal communication to improve the delivery of the presentation.
How to assess the audience members and answer their questions.

Planning a Presentation:

Identify the six common types of presentations
Three items a presenter should examine to determine present objectives and make objectives realistic
Organize your presentation using three major sections
Display visual aids using six different methods

The Presentation Process:

Apply four steps to help reduce your fear of speaking
Five elements of nonverbal communication to improve you delivery
Guidelines for using visual aids during presentation
Four steps to properly answer a question during your presentation
